There\u2019s a good chance your business has at least some lifting and handling equipment. This could be anything including lifting or spreader beams, stillages, skip bins, lifting eyes, forklift jibs, fork extensions, bale lifters, vacuum lifters, and the list could go on.<\/p>\n

Sometimes, you\u2019ll have existing gear where the certification has run out (or maybe it was never certified in the first place). Other times, you might need new lifting gear designed.<\/p>\n

Motovated can help \u2013 this sort of thing is bread and butter work for us. Whether it\u2019s a simple lifting beam or something more bespoke 3 , you\u2019ve come to the right place.<\/p>\n

If it\u2019s existing equipment, a Motovated engineer will visit your site, inspect the gear and make a condition assessment (and probably run through a proof load test). After some calculation work back at the office, we\u2019ll be able to issue a CPEng certificate for the item.<\/p>\n

If you need something designed, we\u2019ll start by having a chat with you about the problem you\u2019re trying to solve (and what you\u2019ve already tried, so we don\u2019t reinvent the wheel). From there, we\u2019ll get stuck in to coming up with a design you\u2019re happy with, that solves the problem and issue a set of drawings for manufacture. If needed, we can also issue a CPEng design statement at this point.<\/p>\n

Once the new equipment is manufactured, we can inspect and proof load, before issuing a CPEng certificate for the finished item.<\/p>\n
